Privacy policy
MásVidas stores your medical and contact information for one purpose: so someone can help you and alert your family in an emergency. You decide what is public, we never show your contacts’ phone numbers, and we do not sell your data.

Who is responsible for your data?

Health data is sensitive. You provide it voluntarily and with your explicit consent when you fill in your profile, and you can change or delete it at any time.
What do we use it for?
- Showing your emergency profile to whoever scans your QR, limited to the fields you marked as public.
- Alerting your emergency contacts by email and WhatsApp when someone reports an incident.
- Managing your account, subscription, payments and refunds.
- Preventing abuse, such as repeated false reports, and keeping the service secure.
- Measuring, in aggregate, how the public website is used so we can improve it.
We do not use your medical data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with insurers or third parties beyond what is described here.
Who can see your information?
- Whoever scans your QR: only the fields you marked as public, plus the offline version you chose.
- Your emergency contacts: the incident alert with the location and the reporter’s details.
- Never shown on the public profile: your contacts’ phone numbers and emails, and any field you marked as private.
- The MásVidas team: only when needed to support you or run the service.
Which providers process it?
We use providers that process data on our behalf, only to deliver the service:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Database and file storage. Your data is stored only there. |
| Cloudflare | Website hosting and secure page delivery. |
| Lemon Squeezy | Card payment processing. MásVidas never sees or stores your card details. |
| Resend | Sending emails, including emergency alerts. |
| Twilio | Sending emergency alerts by WhatsApp. |
| Google Analytics | Aggregate measurement of visits to the public website. Not used on the emergency profile. |
Some of these providers may store or process data outside your country. By using MásVidas you accept that transfer, which is made only to deliver the service.
How long do we keep it?
For as long as your account is active. If you cancel or ask us to delete your account, we delete your profile and contacts, and your QR codes stop showing any information. We may keep payment records for as long as the law requires.
What are your rights?
You can access, update, correct and delete your data, and withdraw your consent at any time. You can make most changes yourself from your dashboard. For anything else, email [email protected] from your account’s address.
What about minors?
Accounts are for people 18 and older. A parent or guardian can create a profile for a minor in their care and is responsible for the data it contains.
Do we use cookies?
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in, and Google Analytics cookies on the public website to measure visits in aggregate. The emergency profile that opens when someone scans a QR does not use analytics cookies.
Can this policy change?
Yes. If we make significant changes, we will email you before they take effect. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
